BC Retail recently acquired 48 Bow Lane on behalf of Loake. Previously occupied by a jewellers, BC Retail agreed an assignment of a lease which will expire in August 2016. This will be the companies second shop in London following last years opening in Princes Arcade Piccadilly. Nick Furlong will continue looking for opportunities with Canary Wharf being a location of particular interest. Loake will open their doors on Bow Lane in early September.
Acting on behalf of Resolution Quadrangle Residential, BC Retail have agreed the letting of 113/117 Oxford Street to Lloyds Bank at a rent of £895,000 pax.
Acting on behalf of Oriana (Frogmore & Land Securities Jv) BC Retail have let 6/17 Tottenham Court Road to Wasabi at a rent of £225,000 pax.
BC Retail advised Kinoko Custom Cycles on the acquisition on their new flagship store at 10 Golden Square. The store has launched as a rebrand and is a replacement of Tokyo Fixed which opened on Peter Street, Soho in 2009.
Kinoko has taken 2,700 sq ft, paying £80,000 pax on an assignment of an existing 15 year lease from Foote’s Music Store.
